Mark your calendars for the Pot Luck Luncheon in the Fellowship Hall after Sunday School on the 12th.  It's a celebration of Drt. and Mrs Neal Jones as he "retires" as our interim pastor.

Linda Soller has the up coming book group title “Having A Mary Heart In A Martha World” available for those who are planning to join the group in January.  The cost is only $10.00. Linda says it is a very easy read, a change from their most recent books and a great pass along book.  Contact Linda for more information about the group and to order your book!

YARNYARN SISTERHOOD Meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday night at 7:00 pm in Room 200.  Bring your knitting and join us!  Plan on attending.  We'll even teach you how to knit if you need help.  

The Circle will meet every third Saturday, at 10:00 am in the Fellowship Hall.  All women and their families are invited to attend.

Having been unanimously called by our members on July 18, our new pastor, Sean Roberds, is preparing to move to Herndon! Sean, wife Cara and sons Cole and Eli will arrive about Sept. 1. They will be living in the Hastings Hunt neighborhood. Sean will begin as our fulltime senior pastor on Monday, Sept. 13. His first sermon as pastor will be Sept. 19. His official installation service will be Sunday, Sept. 26. There will be a reception in the Fellowship Hall and there will be no Sunday School that day.

Please reserve these dates in your calendar, MEN, and plan on joining McLean Baptist in their annual men's retreat.   Please check with Sharon at the church office or on the bulletin board in the hallway at the church for more information.   Registration deadline is October 3rd.
